Here is yesterdays animation. Had this idea in my head when i was walking home and i thought it was pretty funny so i made it.
Well i ran out of time at the coffee shop! Its still rendering. DANG! Didn’t know this place closed at 8. not having internet at home is annoying. Guess I’ll post it in the morning!
I did it! Working a 14 hour day and i found time to make 3 animations. Will use the sphere asset from yesterday in conjunction with this one. GOTTA RUN!
Shiny Striped Spheres using Cinema 4D and After Effects for some color correction. Still rendering the Nebula from yesterday. There was a problem and I have to rerender and upload again. It looks waayyy better now. It’s just tough when you’ve been working from 7am to 7pm. Tomorrow will be a 7am to 11pm day though. I think I’ll have some time in the middle for a little animation session. The whole point of this is to do it EVERYDAY! No matter what. I have to find time…somehow. Not having internet at home is a major hindrance for this project.
Remember these are just assets to be used for VJing. I used Cinema 4D to create the pyramids. I’ll render a longer, better looking version tonight. Didn’t want to wait around 8 hours for it to render!
For this session i focused on using Trapcode Starglow. I tried to make it look as much like an RGB split as possible. Nearly everything i’ve made thus far has an “Alpha Channel” that will let the black background be transparent. This will allow me to layer all the footage I’ve created so far.
Working with some vector shapes and some track mattes in After Effects. Had to actually draw the vectors since there’s no way to morph between the “primitive” shapes. Made 3 variations. I’ll be adjusting the color and opacity in the VJ program.
Using the idea of a paradox I animated this loop in Cinema 4d. I’d like to do more of this optical illusion type of work. But it is much harder than you’d think!
